 As an engaged couple, you would want to have the best engagement session ever. Apart from picking the perfect location and photographer, you must also consider what you and your partner will wear.  Preparing for an engagement session can be both exciting and stressful, especially the part where you have to pick out the perfect outfit. It’s no secret that what you choose to wear has a big impact on how your photos will turn out. But fret not, my fellow engaged couples!

When considering what outfits you and your partner should wear to your engagement shoot, it’s essential to factor in the season. The best thing about springtime is the abundance of pastel colors, which are perfect for an engagement session. A blush pink dress, or a pretty floral dress with nude heels would look so lovely. If it’s still chilly, wear a denim jacket or a light cardigan.

Summer:

Hot summer days call for something light and airy. Opt for a flowy maxi dress, a cute romper, or a fun printed jumpsuit, paired with some strappy sandals or wedges. Neutral colors, like white or beige, always look good for a summer photoshoot.

Fall:

Fall is probably the most popular season for engagement sessions, with the colorful leaves and cozy sweaters. A sweater dress or a plaid skirt with a neutral sweater would look so chic. And, of course, boots are a must! Try ankle boots, knee-high boots or combat boots.
